Remote shutter release for Pentax DSLR

After holding my finger on the shutter release on "B" for 30 sec plus, Eric thinks - better organise a shutter release cable!

Surely I can make my own. Would anyone kindly tell me (and show photo?) of the plug that goes into the remote shutter release socket (the Pentax "CS-205 cable switch" according to the K100D manual). I'm hoping it is a simple "mono" plug (looks like 2.5mm, such as attached photo?) and that shutter release is achieved by shorting the signal and ground together.

Many thanks in advance.
