I was thinking of getting a new lens to replace my Canon 17 - 85 f4.5/5.6 as I'm not happy with it - too slow, too much CA and too soft even for my holiday snaps... Anyone want to buy it? It's a really great lens!!
I was thinking of the 17 - 55 mm f2.8 and found that Canon USA has rebates on a number of lenses that are of interest to astrophotographers.
