The coke can has disappointing optical properties, although being free of coma, astigmatism and chromatic abberation, it was somewhat opaque. I also had to use a 4lb lump hammer to get it in the focuser.
I can best describe it's performance as "sub-optimal". Still, it's probably better than those Modified Achromat eyepieces you get with low-end SkyWatchers ...
