I imaged Shapley 1 a few months back but have been collecting more data on the OIII for the last few months when conditions were right. I have now collected another five hours so that integration is now up to 21.4 hours.
The outer halo is now more evident but would need more collection to produce sharp detail in the outer halo. This will not be possible as this is with the previous GSO truss Newtonian which has now been decommissioned. So it might have to wait until I have the AG12 commissioned to undertake the task of imaging it again at some point.
