The dynamic range is only slightly crushed but the read noise is majorly crushed
While some worry about well depth, and I get that that's because of saturating stars too quickly with a fast scope, surely it's the dynamic range that counts?
Judging correct exposure length to keep it in the sweet spot is all the more important as a result.
