I've tried asking a few Cooling modified DSLR (Astro 40D) owners if their cameras function normally for daytime shots - no conclusive answer as they all use them as dedicated astro cams (go figure!!

I really just wondered whether anyone has tried daytime shooting with theirs and if there was any major problem.
Paul Haese stated to me that there may be some light bleed caused by the mod (confirmed by Central DS) which he thinks renders the DSLR useless for daytime shots, but the noise tests on the Central DS site are taken indoors in a kitchen! They're very dark though and not good examples of daytime shoots - perhaps they illustrate the problem!??
