A fixed point in the sky?? - Do you mean a geostationary satellite??
I think not.
There are two types of Go-To mount. Alt/Az and Equatorial.
Both kinds of mount can track the stars/planets. -they have motor don't they??
Any GEM with a drive motor can track, Go To is just an added feature.
