One of those projects that never got completed
....but I rather liked how things were going until the clouds rolled in
To preserve the image scale and keep it web-friendly I've uploaded the frame at 50% resolution i.e. 2048 by 2048 ....pixel peep as much as you like
The data is "Unplugged". Pretty much as it came out of the telescope.
Remarkable what you can pick up in 15 minutes with good transparency.
Just darks, flats. Levels adjusted. No photons were deconvolved or harmed to make this image.
