Further to my previous post I'd like to set the record straight re warranty. The camera was purchased new from Theo on 4 May 2010 so it is celebrating it's second Birthday today.
I've been working with Theo on resolving this issue since February 2011 and have followed his advice re Acetone, Dessicant and Argon all while the camera was still under the one year warranty period. None of these measures have fixed the problem. This is all documented in the attached thread:
