Playing around today with some images, managed to clear 400GB of memory on my hard drive finally but now going through some terrestrial photographs. This one showed how a 12" DOB can be used as a massive telephoto lens. The white-balance was way off as I wasn't very serious about the capture but with a bit of image manipulation (Registax
) I was able to get something reasonable. May try a little harder next time.
Notice the actual picture from the camera, I contrasted the actual bird to get a comparison, too hard to see otherwise.
