nice report. The 3 of the 4 Grus Quartet galaxies are visible to me in a 4.5" reflector from suburban skies. Haven't tried my 10" yet, thanks to #@!& Melbourne weather clouding over before midninght every night without fail. You must've been looking in the wrong area.
