i had that camera for a while, but my needs were outgrowing it. it is a fantastic camera, fast, fantastic quality, superb super macro function...just watch it or you'll be taking photos of the dust on your lens it's true!!! they aren't wrong when they say it's range is from 0-10cm!

as for connecting to a telescope...i know there is a lens hood adapter for it, that puts a 52mm or 58mm thread onto it (depending which of the adapters you use!, so you can attatch filters and the like, i'm unsure if there's a way to connect the thread to a telescope...
