SM60 Solar filter with matching BF15 blocking filter
These filters are currently unavailable and represent the finest front aperture full size etalon filters.
The Coronado SM60 will give a resolution of 0.6A and allow visual or imaging recording of all the solar activity in H alpha - prominences, filaments, flares etc etc.
The associated 15mm blocking filter diagonal has be serviced and the ITF filter element replaced with a Maier Photonics filter. This filter is suitable for telescope focal lengths up to 1500mm.
There are CNC adaptor plates available for ED80 and other scopes.
I also have Richview SM60 II etalon which would be ideal for making a double stack arrangement, bringing the resolution down around 0.3A.
