A longer dovetail
Since it was a result of changing your image train I would first look at back focus and tilt. You'll probably have to add a bit (0.5-2.5mm) depending on your filters and other considerations/assumptions. Do plenty of test shots of a dense starfield paying attention to your corners and centre.
