Often when I see an item of interest on eBay the bidding goes to around, or slightly higher than, the RRP, but this one takes the cake. Last week I watched a second hand Manfrotto head model 141RC which went for a staggering $173.50 plus $8.00 postage. RRP for the same item at Photo Continental in Brisbane is $103 and Camera House has that head on a 190CLB tripod for $249 (the tripod without head alone is $200+). Makes you wonder how people can buy at online auctions without doing their homework.
