As 95% of my visual work is done with a 4” doublet and can say that the views of the moon and planets from our heavily light polluted locations are worth while with a meager 100mm of aperture. Surfing the moon at 185x with binoviewers or Jupiter with a nice planetary EP at 200x is bliss
