That means you are out of memory. You computer does not have enough RAM to complete the operation. Happened ALL the time with me on a 32 bit system, but very very rarely on a 64 bit system. Best idea is to shut down all background applications running and try again. Can even happen on a fresh rebooted system, so not sure how DSS handles memory.
