Registax spat you out because your image scale was way too large and Jupiter was nothing more than a point. It doesn't like trying to stack point sources like stars.
Does your dob have at least the ability to track? If not, then your only target is going to be the moon. As some have already said, bump up the image scale to get a decent sized planet pic and you're going to find it very difficult to keep the planet you're trying to image in your FoV. You need a mount that can track in alt-az at the very least, to be able to get reasonable planet pics. I wouldn't bother using a DSLR for anything other than DSO's and the Moon. To get decent planet pics you're better off getting a modded webcam at the very least. Even better if you get a dedicated imager for planet work like a Flea, DBK or even a good astrovideo camera like a Mallincam or GStar. Then, to get decent image scale, you'll have to boost the FL of your dob with a barlow at the very least. Better yet, invest in a Powermate.
