Had another go this time I stopped the aperture down and upped the exp to 40 seconds at ISO 6400 then tried a few things in CS2 and downsized them.This only made the stars look pixelated.

H exposure was 30 seconds max.Thanks Mike no lense profile applied and thanks for the feedback will have a more serious go at post processing the next time.This is a steep learning curve for me.

Thanks guys. Chris this really is nice camera but I still like my 60D.I really only have the 28-300 zoom on the 6D at the moment so I should probably test it with some other lenses.
