No I didn't notice any high cloud, only low cloud that rolled through just below the sun during totality! I haven't noticed much noise at all with my stacks. Did you use Fitswork? Yeh I always have...

Thanks Mike. It was more of a matter of toning down the brightness as I said, but you need some still to make it pop a bit!

And the clouds parted like the Red Sea! Wow so lucky. Rain and cloud covering sun 5 mins before totality then managed to see it all. At Machans Beach north of Cairns airport. Got some good images too.
