For pure visual purposr is the Tak micro focuser of any advantage?

:)Hi Vaydia , I have an beautiful FS60C and are mostly visual , like you and NO ! save your money and grab a couple of nice TV , TAK or what ever eyepiece's .
There is nothing wrong with Takahashi's focusers .
What you are probably experiencing is focusing at f/5.9 , the focal point at our 355mm f.l is very small ( 1.5-2mm) and critical focus is not easy to acheave , but the quality of our 60mm Flourite lenses is such that you know when focus is acheaved , the snap !!! .;).
But if you want a FT 10/1 grab it . :thumbsup:.
I love mine just the way it is , lovely hand made goodness.

Yes, it definitely helps... but it's also rather expensive for what amounts to a tiny extra knob that you add to the existing focuser. You may want to also consider completely replacing the entire focuser, e.g. with a MoonLite refractor focuser with a dual rate tri-knob upgrade.
