Ever since the latest site upgrade, my internet explorer tends to freeze when using certain features of this site, namely in private messages and just before it did after doing a search.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm using windows 2000 running IE ver 6.0.2800.1106

I dont have this problem at any other sites that I visit.

Have you got your user options set to recieve pms ving? Or is it just a personal thing ving :P

Geoff, just out of curiosity, do you have another computer/laptop running 2000 and does that hang as well? Not that I'd know what the hell was going on, Techi-neanderthal that I am, but just curious.

The webpage sometimes hangs when I press the "Back" button on IE6 after I have replied to a post. I close IE and then open IIS again.

Cheers

To all having problems:

Install Firefox and your problems with browsing will disappear.

There's nothing stopping you from doing it!

John, Windows 2000 was a fairly stable operating system. I think you may have got it mixed up with Windows ME.

Humayun

I use both IE and f/fox as each one works differently on different sites.

But I usually have trouble in here with IE so I always use f/fox in here now and have had no problems.

Actually I find f/fox works better on almost every site! Definately worth the change!!!

no problems here Geoff. Try clearing the cache/cookies in IE. Sometimes it makes a big difference.
