My four-year-old likes numbers, and at the moment she has a bit of a fixation with the number 20. So if you ask her to count anything she'll go all the way up to 20, even if there are only two or three objects!

So, we're in Bintel this arvo standing beside the eyepiece section. I tell her I'm going to buy one, and can't decide between the Delos 10mm and 14mm.

She says: Daddy, you need to buy twenty!

Sure, I say, which ones?

These ones, she says, and proceeds to count and point at the entire Ethos and Nagler display.

I wonder if she'll have expensive tastes in everything...

Hmmm, interesting that YOU should take HER there, knowing her current thing for counting to twenty.

Coincidence?

I'm not to sure...

My daughter had a thing for pricing everything as $2.20. Didn't matter what it was, big or small, gold or coal. Maybe I should have done the same and gone to Bintel too. :D Mmmm, a nice C14 for $2.20. I'll take two!

Mental.
