Hi all.

Sorry it's been a while since I've done any updates here. Updates to the site today include:

* 3 How-To articles in the Projects (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/?projects) section
* 2 Telescope Reviwes in the Reviews (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/?reviews) section
* Added 2 clubs to the Clubs & Societies (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/?club_listing) section
* Added some new entries to the Glossary (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/?glossary) (thanks Brian Nolan).

Many thanks to those who contributed articles and reviews to the site. If you'd like to contribute an article, review or other information to include on the site, please contact me (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/?contact).

In site related news, the IceInSpace Forum (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum) has shot past 950 members! To celebrate the milestone of 1000 members, we'll be running the "IIS1K" 1000-member competition. Once we pass 1000 members, the competition will be launched shortly after, and in will be in the forum of a multiple-choice quiz, with prizes for the winners to be donated by generous vendors and sponsors in Australia.

So if you're not yet a member, please register (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/register.php) to join in the fun! If you have friends that are into astronomy but haven't yet discovered IceInSpace, send them a link and get them to sign up!

I'm working with my friend Terry (mojo) to add a bunch of new and exciting features to the IceInSpace site. We hope to launch some of these in the next few weeks, so stay tuned!

On a personal note, it's been an exciting couple of months.. One of my images of Jupiter made it onto APOD (http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap060318.html), SpaceWeather (seen in the news item below), Universe Today (http://www.universetoday.com/am/publish/jupiter_032006.html?2132006), and digg.com (http://www.digg.com). I also won first prize in the SPSP2006 (http://www.asnsw.com) astrophotography competition in the Widefield category with this image (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/mygallery/displayimage.php?album=16&pos=2) of the Venus, Moon, Jupiter and Spica conjunction, and second place in the Solar System category with this image (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/mygallery/displayimage.php?album=11&pos=17) of Jupiter.

Anyway, thanks to those who continue to support IceInSpace by visiting every day, posting on the forums and making this a better place.

The next few months will be exciting, so check back soon!
