For hyperstar work I'm going to need to add a guidescope on top of the C9.25 edgeHD, I'm open to suggestions as to what is the best hardware to get to achieve this.

Any suggestions welcomed, especially if you have something to sell me!

The hyperstar turns your C9.25 into an f/2 scope doesn't it? The relatively short focal length then means the guidescope mounting is not critical.

I've got an Orion Starshoot 50mm finder guider on my C8. http://www.bintel.com.au/Astrophotography/Autoguiders/Orion-Mini-Autoguider-Package/403/productview.aspx This one. It's mounted directly to the finder shoe screwed into the C8. At f/10 I get oblique stars as 2000mm is too much of a focal length to expect to work with such a small guider. At f/6.3 it works quite well. At f/2 it would work perfectly with the guider having a very similar focal length to the scope itself.

I use an ADM mini-rail system to support the electronic finder etc.
Great piece of kit.

Peter,
After trying various options I settled out on a Viven style rail on top of the imaging scope, whichever imaging scope I use.
In a ring and DA set from ADM I have a TS 60mm guide-scope, and the Lodestar in that. Works for me.

Yeah I have an OAG for prime work, the guidescope would only be for the Hyperstar work.

Do you have a link for that?

I guess here (http://admaccessories.com/V_Series_Dovetails.htm) would be a good place to start for V-series bits.

I'd probably go for the D-series (http://admaccessories.com/D_Series_Dovetails.htm) - not that much more expensive but you can hang just about anything you can lift unassisted on them.

ADM rail works a treat. I am really happy with it on my C9.25. :)
