Great to catch up with you at Wiruna again.
A great photo.
The amount of dust you have captured is amazing.
The scope and QHY10 camera are working well.

Thanks Ric and Ross,
Still struggling with technicals with the scope, collimation doesn't hold well with the 3hrs travel to Wiruna, and my mpcc spacing still needs work.

Very nicely done.
Gee the standards of deep space has soared in the last year.

Great result Trevor, it's such a beautiful area of sky and you have done it justice, nice work ....This is another area I want to shoot with the AG12 from dark skies :tasdevil: ...one day

Thanks Mike, there is always room for you at Wiruna, would love to have you and gear up on the AI field again.
Thanks Justin, I was initially worried that it wouldnt turn out. Had all sort of problems with strange colour casts until I removed my flats. Will have to redo those.

Oh I know, I have considered it a few times but always balk at the scale of logistics vs clear skies probability .....

Wow, very nice capture of a beatiful part of the sky

Fortune favours the bold
The probability of clears skies is inversely proportional to the number of people who visit Wiruna on the new moon, so maybe you better stay away.:P

29-07-2012, 12:13 PM
I can't see anybody behind me... but for my scope collecting dust.
29-07-2012, 12:53 PM
Yeah, that's what I mean. You're in the race, I am still on the starting grid.
Maybe i should collect the data and give it you to process.;)
