On my lx90 I notice when looking at the large planets and the moon that the image colour is not uniformed, but is more red on one side and a blueish colour on the other. Does this show that I need to adjust my mirror or is this normal for a LX90.
I doubt that is a collimation issue...What you are describing Sounds more like Chromic Aberration, and since SCT's dont have that defect, I would suspect it is coming from your eyepiece...
Is this at low power only?

I thought that may be the case, but it seems to do it will all my eye pieces. All the 2" eye pieces I have are Meade are they any good?. I will have to get an adaptor and try my other eye pieces and see how they are.

Just as an after thought the diagonal that I am using seams to be a rather cheap one and has no name on it. I wonder if that maybe the cause. I will try next time without it and see.
Maybe the diagonal is worth a look as well.
