If you can't find a break in the clouds on this New Moon weekend, then the
F1 Qualifying coverage airs tonight starting at 21:30 AEST on ONE HD.

Practice 3 is about to get underway in 5 minutes.

This year's race in Germany is back to Hockenheim and it will
be the first time we have seen the DRS deployed there if conditions are dry.

Yesterday's wet conditions saw some offs including for Australian Daniel Ricciardo
who came to rest in the gravel.

Not so lucky was Michael Schumacher who managed to walk away unhurt from a crash
but the Mercedes had extensive damage and the session was red-flagged.

All eyes will be on Mark Webber who has decided not to join Ferrari but has been
signed up for another year at Red Bull. Currently only 13 points behind
Fernando Alonso in the driver's championship, another spectacular win like
he made at Silverstone and Monaco could put him on top of the pack.

In breaking news Mark Webber will join Rosberg and Grosjean with five place
grid penalties for gear box changes.

That was an awsome lap by Alonso to take pole position. Riccardo just outside the top 10. Hopefully we'll get a bit of rain half way thru the race just to mix thngs up a bit.

Vettel has been given a 20 second penalty for passing Button off-track,
which drops him from second to fifth in the race.

Button moved up to second place and Raikkonen third.

I had a feeling he might get a penalty after that move. Would have been nice for Webber to be up a bit higher but he seemed to be stationary within the pack most of the race.
