Hi JJJ,

When we were chatting at Lostock last year, I mentioned that I once had a brief
email exchange with DNA back in 1993. I promised I would track one down for you.

At the time, he was interested in travel in the Danakil Alps of Ethiopia and I had
recommended some books that had accounts of travel in the region.

Hi All,

Cold as a nun's nose in Sydney tonight, so I have my towel wrapped around be for warmth.

Happy towel day to you all. I have absolutely no doubt that I am the biggest Douglas Adams fan here -- particularly the radio plays. The book "So-long and thanks for all the Fish" is one of the finest pieces in the English language. Utterly sublime in execution.

Now, if I could write like that ...

Best,

Les D

I can't believe that I've never heard of "Towel Day" :ashamed:

Rest assured that will be rectified next year.
