Good for garden. Bad for temper and emotional stability.

We're supposed to get some strong wind aswell tonight with the low pressure system. If the weather is going to be a dog, might aswell make it interesting. Is it all hype like usual? We'll see...

I think our weekend is supposed to be clear and cool - Sunday might be a good night to get the scope out! (Saturday is out due to a birthday dinner.)

19mm of rain overnight down here.

Definitely good for the garden and the orchard, the dam is also full and the water tank got a 6% boost (5500 litres).

Hopefully the winds will blow the clouds away.

Sab, it's so windy here I'm tempted to tape the windows!! Keep going on "tree watch" as there's a massive old tree in the front yard, and I'd hate for it to decide it wanted to live in my spare room (ie, scope's bedroom). It's so windy, it reminds me of living on the Gold Coast during cyclone season!

All we got was some moderate wind and boring light rain all day. A far cry from the biblical epic bigger than storm-force winds and lashing we were supposed to get according to the brain-dead mongoloids on the Australian Weather Forum. Current wind speed: 0km/h. Yet again, all hype, giant fail whale reality. My farts exceed the velocity of this so-called cyclonic wind and rain event (if you read the posts of the "senior forecasters" on the Aus Weather Forums)

A disaster of a day. Cold, light rain, 10000000000000000000000:1 hype to fail ratio.... just the usual bollocks to be expected here. The vomit-cast suggest the same until this time next week (downgraded from sunshine on Monday onwards. AS USUAL) :mad2:

Hahaha you're not wrong. As soon as I posted that, things started to quiet down, and I can't hear a sound (other than my neighbors who just got home from the pub). Hope this means my driveway won't be flooded anymore??

Sab, Sab, Sab...

Ladies & gentlemen, boys & girls, let me remind you who's just taken delivery of a brand new SDM!

You REALLY expected to get off scott-free?

What was it, a 12", right? Now 12 weeks, multiplied by the number of rain-free days since delivery, add 5 weeks for it BEING an SDM...

My God, you really are on for it! :eyepop:

Oooh Alex,

You saboteur. I will give you heaps on June 6 if it is cloudy. I should have trussed you up and left you in Maccas with a BigMac IV in. How many scopes do you need

Cheers

Oops sorry, too many B&C

Guess I owe you a 1/4 pounder. Would you not like a SDM on the side then?

Cheers
