Maybe wrong thread but I thought people who read this might know...

I took a series of 30sec exposures of Scorpius last night from the city and would like to stack several to improve the overall outcome. These were just camera on tripod.

Is there software that will stack them taking into account the rotation of the images?

many thanks

Deep Sky Stacker should do the job nicely Niko. :)

thanks JJJ - I seemed to remember reading somewhere there was something else for field rotation but I'll certainly give good ol' DSS a go

cheers

It's a good starting point anyway.

RegiStar handles field rotation and other distortions better but costs $
