I have only recently found XW Buddha and his Pentax XW wisdom thread on cloudy nights. Many on this forum probably have read it before but if you haven't.... very funny stuff, so good I had to stop reading! Not enough time to read it all. Lots of wisdom imparted on all aspects of this hobby too. It can be found on page 2 of the eyepieces forum...XW Buddha takes a question from a recent convert.

Thanks for popping the link in Mikey- when I was reading the post I was saying aaaaaarghhhh where's the link?! :lol:

This seems to be a bit of useful information. Collimation vertically seems to makes sense after he explained it. And I wish I understood what he meant by secondary shadow of moon re collimation.... what's secondary shadow exactly. :question: Can anyone explain? I'd like to give this a go sometime on my dob.
