You would think that they would get someone who can string a coherent sentence together, hey
I got the same email. I looked at the heading and it looked genuine, however, I checked the email address, before opening it, and realised it wasn't even from Paypal. I didn't open it, just deleted.
I have been getting, at least, two "junk" emails every day. As I am concerned about "worms" I just delete them immediately. Sometimes I would like to open them just to see what they say, but then I remember "curiosity killed the cat!"

Hi,
I had one of those "Microsoft Support" scammers start swearing at me when I told him he was a very naughty little vegemite for trying to fool old pensioners like me.
Cheers
Yep, that's a real command of the English language.

They are even trying via Google... see below:
It's not much of a form, though..

What really gets me is that if you really did win something, you would think that they would already know these details, strange! No such thing as a free lunch!
I had a scammer ring me a while back. I talked rather rapidly, and with authority, and said "How did you get this number? You should not have this number as it is a classified line! You are in serious trouble! What's your name...... and that is as far as I got before he disconnected.

I actually received a scam via snail mail, and I must say it was extremely well done. It was a plain envelope with a dodgy 'cheap' looking address label on it, but inside, printed in high res on glossy paper was the 'brochure' along with 2 very professionally done scratch tickets. One of the 'scam' tells was that you could actually read the message under the scratch panel if you held it at the right angle. It was a Travel company in Malaysia celebrating their 7th birthday and this was their way of celebrating. There were heaps of prizes on offer, Cash, Holidays, etc. One of the conditions of claiming a prize (Oh, I had one $150,000US by the way, one of only 2 of those prizes that were sent out worldwide) was fully disclosing all personal details that were asked. They had a very professional and believable Website and the company had allegedly won all these top awards, but when I googled 'Award winning Malaysian Travel Agency', there was not one reference to them. The final 'tell' was I had never been one of their customers, nor had I ever traveled through Malaysia before... It will suck alot of people in though. I am generally VERY skeptical about these things and can see a scam a mile off, but I will admit, this one had me sitting on the fence a while...

Yep, happened to me, too. "Microsoft representatives" are funny folk. As I am comfortable sitting behind my firewalls (and never open any stupid attachments - they never come from real companies) - they had a bit of trouble knowing that I run Linux!
