I hope you don't subscribe to that interpretation.:P

Kāma (Sanskrit, Pali; Devanagari: काम) is often translated from Sanskrit as sexual desire, sexual pleasure, sensual gratification, sexual fulfillment, or eros, but can more broadly mean desire, wish, passion, longing, pleasure of the senses, the aesthetic enjoyment of life, affection, or love, without sexual connotations.

Notice that the story is undetermined.

No-one but Luciano Mares actually knows the truth. But is certainly possible.

Rats have been responsible for starting huge fires, especially in slum areas.
Rats can run for several minutes before succumbing to the flames in their fur!

When Snopes or anyone else can prove it 'FALSE' then I will disbelieve it.
Until then, it's a great story for all mice  :P

Now that is what I call instant karma. Love it.
