Amazing image, the integration time seems mammoth until you realise that their 6 identicle mountain top scopes can do it all in one night.

Yeah, the PI guys go a bit over board with hard processing sometimes I worry (what would David M say!?), but you have to give it Jack Harvey and crew, they do amazing work with amazing gear.

I am surprised there is not more detail for such a long exposure :shrug:
Where are the blue arcs and other details which are seen in images taken by Mike Sidonio and others :question:
Is it to do with the different filters ect :question:
