If it can take a 70mm short scope, I will get it.

G'day Giorgio,

The internal diameter of the rings is just over 60mm. They're perfect for 50mm finders, but looks like they won't take your 70mm scope.

Hi Troy,What's the distance between the foot's mounting screws?
Regards
Mark

Hi Troy,
I'm building a guide-scope from an old camera lens. Would the rings i.d. s t r e t c h to accommodate 64mm? Also, what is the spacing between the rings?

G'day Robert,

Think for something like a camera lens, it'd be a bit tight getting 64mm in there. If you used a 50mm finderscope that has something like the hood that might be a few mm more than the 50mm, at least you can unscrew the hood to slide the finder in there no worries. I've done it.

I'll have to get back to you on the centres of the rings in the other direction.

And apologies to Mark above for not getting back about the hole spacings. Will measure that as well. Sorry, Mark.

Mark, it's about 31mm, but the holes are slightly slotted so would probably take anywhere from 29 to 33mm.

Rings are 66mm apart.
