I will have to consider upgrading the 80GTL OTA. The mount is fine but my Son has ditched it for the better views on offer through the Dob. To be fair, the optics on the 80GTL are not up to the task. I also need to find a new OTA that will fit the ring clamp connection on the mount.

The SV yahoo owners group have been discussing the pro's and conn's of these and the new LOMO SV90mm, its been fun following this . :thumbsup: high class instruments.
In NZ the TV85 is $3400 OTA . $NZ this is about 2.8k AU .
