Noticed this statement in an advertisment for Celestron CGEM800....
"Schmidt-Cassegrain mechanism supported by two pre-loaded ball bearings, minimizing the "mirror flop" typical of bushing focus mechanisms"
I have an old Orange Tube C8 and am curious as to what/how exactly they have reduced the "mirror flop".
Anyone have an explanation or diagram?
