Hoping someone can help with this scenario.
I have a Skywatcher 10" Synscan Goto Dob (Collapsible)
and would like to upgrade the focuser on it with a 10:1.

Ideally I'd like to make it still look factory if possible.
I've found this one on the net, but not sure if it suitable.

Also I'd like to purchase something in Australia if possible.

I've attached some pictures of my scope for reference.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Matt.

Guessing that this isn't a straightforward one to answer since no one has replied yet,
so given that you'd want to replace the focuser, besides having the mounting holes lined up, what other things would one need to consider?

Thanks.

I have the same focuser and instead of replacing the focuser I placed a motorised focus control on it instead. Far cheaper and has been accurate for my work so far.

Could you let me know where you bought the motorised controller from?
eg: web address, part number and some rough pricing.

Thanks.

This is the one I got, price does not vary much between suppliers either but with a quick bit of searching should get something a bit cheaper (or maybe not)

It is not as accurate as a high JMI focusers which you see on the same site but it still works well IMHO.
