Well, I'm heading off to Hungary on the 25th to Hungary for 3 weeks. Been a looong while since I've seen stars here... Arriving on the 26th in Vienna... forecast is for sunshine! Going to try and find a tripod for my SV F60 finder and planning on buying Bintel's Meade 4000 plossl set to take with me to use with the scope... not going to miss this rare oppurtunity to observe objects that are not visible from here!

Forecast is looking promising, infact a lot better than here! Lots of sunshine there this week..... hoping for the same after Christmas!

Hungary is beautiful -- especially on a sunny day. Not so much on a cloudy and overcast day. Everything and everyone looks depressed. : P
