Congratulations to Chris Thomas for the infusion of his great photo of the airplane crossing the moon which appeared in the November 2011 edition of Astronomy magazine in the 100 greatest pictures of the year!!
However a great big kick in the goulies to Astronomy mag for crediting Christopher Go as the discoverer of the 'Bird Strike' on Jupiter which was subsequently imaged by the Hubble scope. Not happy Jan.

Yes-most remarkable to have an image that one has taken in back garden go so far! Really did not expect any of what has happened happen!
Its certainly opened up a whole world of O.S contacts to help put my photography forward on an international level.
Here are some image I took in paddock last weekend,its a long way from a dry dusty grazier's paddock to London,but these images made the cut!:)
