ngc 253 and ngc 55

After my synscan mixup (see equipment thread) I decided to post my somewhat short efforts on these two galaxies. I am not completely happy with my tracking for NGC253, and for some reason 4-5 of the subs were horribly trailed next time I will have to watch more subs.

Not bad, but the pictures are very small Peter so theres not too much to say about them. As for your real NGC 253 (hehehe). What your most likely seeing is the effects of Flexure! mmmm I remember them days of hair pulling and wtf is going on see here (http://brendanmitchell.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Non-OAG-guiding-animation.gif) and here (http://brendanmitchell.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/OAG-guiding-animation.gif) for the before and after.!

Step 1 make sure everything is tightend down, more than likely you have a culprit some where and its hiding from you to twart your success.!

Thanks for the advice brendan, I am actually am relieved that it was flexture because then I know that It is a treatable condition! And as for the small images, I decided that I will make my own website soon to display my images, then I can upload full size frames and link them here.

Still,a couple of nice shots which you can improve by desaturating the background and tidy up the stars with PS offset filter.
