hi guys!

here is a nice memory of this year's Ars Electronica Festival, that was dedicated to the main tpoic: "origin".
clear cut case, that astronomy was a major input there.

here is an interview with Jerry Bonnell and me during that festival:

http://www.stargazer-observatory.com/ars-festival-2011.html

in the background you see me walking through the ESO - extremly large telascope observatory. YES. that is possible, as we have the original 3d data-set from ESO and we implemented this into the "deep space" in the ars electroncia center:
a space, utilizing 8 synchronized full HD TV beamers, that project any 3d model onto a 16x9m wall and floor; simultanousley. that way, you can literally walk through it, even before it is built.

also: we have SCISS. the uniview 3d model of the entire cosmos. you can float through space and feel like astronauts do,...with the privilege to float out in to space for billions of lightyears,...without the risks of manned space-flight,though

thanks for looking.
