Hello All,

Has anyone seen the doco "The Captains" written/directed by William Shatner?

Not at all what I expected - not at all the Hollywood backslap but instead quite a deep personal journey as to what it meant to be a Star Trek captain in terms of the personal toll it took on the actors in those main roles.

Enjoyed it immensely - recommended

It sounds quite interesting Doug.

Was it on TV or did you buy it on DVD?

Not bad although I these days I find Shatner to be a trite pretensious, wrapped up in his own self importance, as Captains go Picard by far was the best IMO and still carries himself well.
