short information.

Northern hemisphere "Starport" Observatory started yesterday.
Observatory is accessible via Internet ;) .
Online Observations are generally cost free.
Additional services like moderated chat and several dataservices can be booked.

Software requirements:
"ArtemisNAVIGATOR" astronomy package (Freeware)

hey buddy, interesting site, but is in German most of it. is there an option that i cant see to switch to english??

Heyho Vali x,

a global switch from german to english and vice versa is possible only for the portals user interface but not for the contents of posts.

If something of outstanding interest is posted an english translation is probably available.

"Starport" Sessions...
If you decide to be an ArtemisSIMULATOR User and want to log in to the chat during an ongoing observing session, english conversation should be no problem :)
