Hi Ron,

Yes an incredible amount of work and dedication.

I'm looking at our galaxy with new eyes. You can really see it as A GALAXY! :eyepop:

I am in absolute Awe! :eyepop: :eyepop: :eyepop:

That is the most amazing image I have ever seen.
I thought Hubble images were fantastic, but this blew me away! and it's by an amateur!!

:eyepop:

I have spent the last half an hour glued to it, zooming in to Horsehead, Crux, Tarantula, 47tuc, Centaurus 'A' galaxy, Omega Cent, etc etc etc.

Look at the Rho Ophiucus Complex!

and Barnards Loop in Orion!

Wow!

I think I'll be in there quite a bit. I am amazed :)

Great stuff!

It would be a safe bet that many an IIS astrophotographer would love to have at their
disposal a camera rig like the one employed.

What an awesome image.

I love to see a poster produced out of that, it would probably take up a whole wall just to do it justice.

Ric,

The guy who made that composite does sell poster prints.

Very reasonably priced, too, I might add.

I found a link to his website H.

$500 for a 120 x 30 inch poster, not bad at all.

Kind of the ultimate astroimage really

"...hmmm? what will I photograph tonight ...I know! heck, I'll just quit my job and travel for a year and bloody well image everything!".

Mind blowing amazing image...of everything
