Reference source: Large Hadron Collider could be world's first time machine (http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-03-large-hadron-collider-world-machine.html)

The jist is that they're predicting the spontaneous appearance of 'Higgs singlets' at the same time as Higgs Bosons (if they appear at all). The singlets are theorised to be one of the particles not bound to the 'brane' upon which normal matter resides, so they can theoretically travel in other dimensions, and thus forwards or backwards in time.

Good to see M-Theory starting to be understood to the point where someone can formulate some predictions !

Will be interesting to see what results of the experiments.

Who knows, they may see the results of their experiments before they actually perform them:):P

Brian will get up that morning, walk over to his desk and see some results already written down (by himself) in his log book. He'll have an eureka moment and then go perform the experiment to get his results:):P

That'll be another TV show for him, I foresee:):P:P

Hope he leaves enough room to write down his abstract, intro, methodology and conclusion:):P

That's Brian Greene, right ?

He's the M-Theory 'Brian', right ...? ...

No....Mr Cox....he works at the LHC on the ATLAS detector. Although Mr Greene can be looking over his shoulder:):P

Then you could say two "brians" are better than one:):P:P
