In the process of mounting a Agent V5 in a new housing I inadvertantly
pulled the cable from the PCB board, not wanting to guess where they might go I am hoping someone has one dissambled and can advise where the wires go.
On the PCB we have gnd gnd dp dm and 5v, the cable has coloured wires black, red, green, white and the shield.
Many thanks
Mike.

I think I am the only one that has ever used this camera on this forum (unless there is a silent user), unfortunately I have not needed to remove the PCB though.

I seem to remember someone (maybe Mill) posting the wire connection info in a previous thread about these webcams. Try a search a sift through the postings - I'm sure there's info there, maybe even pics.

cheers

Hi Mike,

Not sure what version mine is, I think it's a V2. I got it when a few folks around here were trying it.
The manufacture date on the pcb is 07.01.25

When you look at the back of the board with the wiring down the bottom, from left to right they are:

1) Shield (black heatshrink over cable)
2) Ground (Black)
3) Data- (White)
4) Data+ (Green)
5) +5V (Red)

This would seem to correlate with your markings of:
gnd
gnd
dp
dm
5v

except your dp (Data+) and dm (Data-) are reversed.

If you follow standard USB colour coding, all should be sweet.

IIRC, mine would not work until I cut off the shield.

Cheers,
Jason.
