anyone have any experience with this tripod?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Benro-Professional-Aluminium-Tripod-A-258M8-In-Sydney-/370417080085?pt=AU_Cameras_Photogra phic_Accessories#ht_3130wt_1026

lightweight (relatively) yet 10 kg carrying capacity

I'd use a Manfrotto head on it-the 498RC2

(am considering this instead of a Manfrotto 055xProB-less expensive and has more rated load carrying capacity...well on paper at least)

not a lot of reviews on the net, some criticism of the Benro head(s) but then I am only thinking of getting the tripod

Thanks in advance for any advice

Yep, have two of the Benbo One, and a Trekker (I think that is what it is called). Both with the Benbo B&S heads.
Weird, but wonderful.

I've got a Benro Travel Angel tripod for my spotting scope - ultra lightweight carbon fibre/magnesium construction and folds down to very small for back-packing. It's supposedly a knock-off of a Gitzo original, at about a third of the price. Beautiful quality construction, sturdy and precise - I couldn't be happier.
