Just a heads up for any large dob owners that might be after a scope cover...

Aldi has motorcycle covers for sale this week for $29.99. Approximate size they say is 2.45m x 0.8m x 1.45m. More than enough room for a 16" lightbridge:).

I think I'll get one and save on messing about with tarps...

No Aldi up here. :sadeyes:
But, strolling through Bunnings yday and thought I would check out their covers for various equipment, and finally bought a cover for one of those chimenea patio heaters. Fits pretty well, and made of a clear PVC, and cheap at $15. Will see how it goes, but looking good. :thumbsup:

I have a SW 10 inch collapsible and I use a Weber kettle cover when it is collapsed. Works great.

I have a converted car-size cover for mine. I can confirm that they make superb covers as they have a soft protective lining on the inside to protect your pride and joy.

I'm tempted to get one for my SCT.
